Curriculum Development
Curriculum Development: Tom Furtakal
In addition to K12 outreach, the REMRSEC has had a strong role in the design, development, and implementation of new interdisciplinary renewable energy curriculum at the Colorado School of Mines. A renewable energy minor for undergraduate students has been created, which currently has over 20 students enrolled, and a renewable energy elective course sequence for graduate students is in the planning stages. The minor is designed so that any Colorado School of Mines undergraduate will have the prerequisites to participate.

Graduate course sequences and research offer scientific and engineering background for renewable energy materials science to both Masters and Doctoral students.
