REU Mentoring Faculty

REMRSEC selects about 20 students each year to participate in the Center’s Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. Students from France, Scottland and various universities in the United States have participated in the Center's REU summer program.

REMRSEC REU students will work with top scientist and researcher mentors in next generation photovoltaics, advanced fuel cell membranes and hydrogen clathrate storage research and engineering. Most REMRSEC faculty are from the Colorado School of Mines Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry and Geochemisty departments. The students will also have access to NREL researchers who participate with REMRSEC.

Below are videos of some of the researchers you will work or have access to during the REMRSEC REU program.
